The Key Club is hosting Spirit Week at CMHS March 15th through March 19th. The intent of Spirit Week is twofold: it allows us to celebrate the spirit within our school and to give the students and the faculty a change in their daily school routines. More importantly, it is the fundraiser for Key Club which helps us to support two very different charities this year. Each day will host a different theme; the cost for each day’s dress is $1, or $5 can be paid upfront on Monday for the whole week. At the week’s end, we will support the Good Shepherd Food Bank. Good Shepherd Food Bank has worked to establish ways to end hunger here in Maine. They cover areas from Kittery to Fort Kent and work with more than 600 food pantries, soup kitchens and community programs in Maine. Finally, we will continue to support KPTI (Kiwanis Pediatric Trauma Institute) which saves 50,000 children from head trauma deaths, annually.
